Glory & Grace offers Northeast Alabama an alternative to traditional dance studios by providing technically sound dance education in a Christian environment that emphasizes hard work, discipline, and respect. We offer training in ballet, tap, lyrical, jazz, and hip hop to students of all skill levels from age 4 to adult. Our instructors are accomplished dancers with a passion for seeing others excel in this art form.

We believe the art of dance is a wonderful source of enrichment to the body and souls of our students. Dancers that are challenged to reach their full potential through rigorous and consistent training will benefit the most from their investment and have the greatest freedom in using the art of dance.

Our program is open to all students regardless of religious affiliation.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

We believe it is better to be a dancer with a small repertoire of well-executed movements than a dancer with a large repertoire of poorly executed movements. To accomplish this goal we employ a graded syllabus that emphasizes technical proficiency over variety of movement. This allows the student to develop the body control necessary to excel at dance on any level.

Serious training is not always fun, but our dancers learn to take pleasure and satisfaction in consistent improvement as they progress towards reaching their full potential. Students are taught that hard work is the seed that yields the fruit of achievement. These invaluable experiences build character that benefits our students regardless of where their life journey takes them.

BALLET EMPHASIS

Ballet teaches proper body control and is essential to technical proficiency in other styles of dance. It is the foundation of our training and all students are required to take at least one ballet class. Advanced students are required to take additional ballet training.
