Training Philosophy

We prefer to produce dancers with smaller repertoires of well-executed movements versus producing dancers with larger repertoires of movements executed poorly. To accomplish this we employ a graded syllabus that emphasizes technical proficiency over variety of movement. This allows the student to develop the body control necessary to excel at dance on any level.

Serious training is not always fun, but dancers learn to take pleasure and satisfaction in consistent improvement as they progress towards reaching their full potential. Students are taught that hard work is the seed that yields the fruit of achievement.

These invaluable experiences build character that benefits our students regardless of where life's journey takes them.

Ballet teaches proper body control and is essential to technical proficiency in other styles of dance. It is the foundation of our training and all students are required to take at least one ballet class. Advanced students are required to take additional ballet training.
